A dedicated person from the team, whom we name in the initial meeting, with a deputy who is also named. For questions about audits or the closing, Melanie Giang joins in. She is a Swiss Certified Accountant (eidg. dipl. Wirtschaftsprüferin) and a licensed audit expert. For anything to do with processes in your business, it is usually Silvio Börlin, who comes from industry and knows what an SME looks like from the inside.

Then your deputy, who is named from the start and knows your engagement, takes over. Deadlines run regardless of our holiday schedule, and that is also why we do not run one-person engagements.

We work digitally because it is faster and less prone to errors, not because we dislike paper. You can photograph receipts, email them or drop them off in a pile. For meetings, we are available by video, by phone or at our office in Dübendorf. We come to your premises when something can only be resolved on site. Keeping that the exception is what keeps the fixed price stable.

Gladly, but please let us know briefly beforehand. Then the person who knows your engagement will be there, and we will have time for you instead of fitting you in between two appointments. Parking is available, and public transport stops nearby.

No. We decline when we realise that we are not the right people, for example when someone is mainly looking for the lowest-priced provider, or when a business has requirements that we cannot serve properly. That is more honest for both sides than an engagement that ends again after a year.

Onaccounting AG was founded in the summer of 2023 out of two perspectives on the same set of accounts. Melanie Giang worked as a Swiss Certified Accountant at one of the four large international audit firms and knows what a set of accounts looks like that stands up to an audit. Silvio Börlin comes from industry and knows the other side: the owner who sorts receipts on a Friday evening because there was no time during the week. That is why we work professionally at the level an audit demands, and in our dealings the way an owner would wish: reachable, clear and without an invoice for every query.

Melanie Giang is a Swiss Certified Accountant (eidg. dipl. Wirtschaftsprüferin) and a licensed audit expert, Silvio Börlin is a Business Economist HF (dipl. Betriebswirtschafter HF). Emilia is a finance and accounting specialist (Sachbearbeiterin Finanz- und Rechnungswesen) and has many years of experience in independently running financial accounting and payroll, closings and VAT returns.

Yes. Onaccounting AG is licensed by the Federal Audit Oversight Authority (Eidgenössische Revisionsaufsichtsbehörde), RAB no. 505484, and the audit is led by Melanie Giang as licensed audit expert. However, we only audit companies whose accounts we do not keep. If we keep yours, we refer you to an independent statutory auditor (Revisionsstelle).

We are at home in Dübendorf, and many engagements come from Zurich and the Zurich Oberland. But we can look after you from anywhere in Switzerland, because receipts and reports are handled digitally. For meetings, we are available by video, by phone or at our office in Dübendorf.
